Rev. Mother Susan Breton Asselin
"Ancient Mother Mystic"
Founder and Queen Mother Susan Breton Asselin is a lifelong resident of Rhode Island, born in Providence, 1954. She is an adoptee recently reunited with her birth mother and takes great pride in knowing her maternal heritage of Acadian French, Breton French Celtic, Armenian and Mi'kmaq First Nation. Her paternal racial and ethnic heritage is unknown, as Rev. Mother Susan's conception was the result of a gang-rape.
Raised in a Breton Celtic Folk
Catholic family, she received her earliest training in the
Metaphysical Arts, Tea Reading and Tarot from her beloved Memere, Delia Melanie Morrisette Breton.
Memere was born July 4th, 1882 in Salem, MA. and was the 1st in her line to be
born in the U.S. She was an incredibly strong woman, who died
when she predicted, 3
days before her 83rd birthday. Her relationship with
Rev. Mother Susan continued
after her passage and she remains in communication as her Spirit Guide.
Upon her croning, Rev. Mother Susan was given the spiritual name Ancient Mother Mystic and she accepted the responsibilities of the Mother Crone. Mother Mystic earned her B.A. in Liberal Studies from Providence College in 1994, and is also a 1973 graduate of Central High School, Providence, R.I. - an inner city school with a long history of violence. She is a firm believer in life long learning, continuing her metaphysical studies with S.O.T.E.S. She is a Reiki Master and donates Reiki healing thru Home & Hospice Care of R.I. She is also a graduate of Cat Yronwode's renowned Hoodoo, Rootwork and Conjure course.
Included in her many life experiences are studies in a broad spectrum of spiritualities and religions including Breton Celtic, Wiccan, the Essenes, Mikmaq, Hare Krishna, Haitian Vodou, New Orleans Voodoo and Roman Catholicism. She was ordained in the Universal Life Church March, 2001. Mother Susan is also an accomplished spiritual healer, grief counselor, root worker, metaphysician and intuitive witch. Rev. Mother Susan has worked as a teacher, grief counselor and youth advisor while raising 6 children and believes her life experiences give her the power to listen without judgment to those from all walks of life and provide Spiritual counseling and healing to those in need.
She uses Spiritual work such as Hoodoo, Root Work & Witchcraft to bring about positive change. She has an amazing life story
